Teaching American History three-year program which includes 4 school districts and 9 campuses in Central Texas. The program goal is to prepare 75 history teachers in grades 5, 8 and 11 to advance their understanding of American History under the guidance of prominent academic and professional historians. Beginning Teacher Induction and Mentoring Program to establish or to enhance a beginning teacher induction and mentoring program at eligible campuses where a mentor teacher is assigned to a classroom teacher with less than two years’ experience. Recipient: Independent School District.
